Two years ago, on August 28, we lost producer, professional party-er, and acclaimed DJ Adam Goldstein, known by the music community simply as, DJ AM.
DJ AM played an incredible role in the LA party scene and, along with Dim Mak DJ Steve Aoki, launched one of Hollywood's most popular dance party of the mid-2000's, Banana Split Sundays. BSB was truly the party to be at. There was always a keg on the dance floor, hip scene kids, and regular cameo's by Sam Ronson, LMFAO, Steve Aoki, and many more. I can't count how many Monday morning hangovers can be credited to Banana Split, and I miss the hell out of dancing all night while AM graced us with his turntable talent.
As we come upon the 2nd anniversary of his tragic death, tributes are being made nationally in his remembrance. Check the flyers below for information on the LV, SF, NY, and LA tributes.
Rest in Power.
