LCD Soundsystem "Shut Up and Play The Hits" Documentary Trailer

LCD Soundsystem, the NYC dance-punk band fronted by singer-songwriter and producer James Murphy, broke thousands of hearts in February of 2011, when an online statement announced the groups disbandment following a farewell concert. The farewell concert took place on April 2, 2011 at Madison Square Garden with tickets selling out in two minutes. After three critically-acclaimed albums, the band delivered an epic performance that was filmed and broadcast live to the world on Pitchfork Media's site.

The documentation of the 48hours leading to the final show has been compiled in a documentary entitled Shut Up and Play The Hits. The film premiered at Sundance last night and will continue to screen through out the week. The trailer's below, as well as the video for "Home", a personal favorite.
